2015 ADA CDT Dental Codes
The 2015 ADA CDT Dental Codes are now available for Dentrix customers running Dentrix G4 Productivity Pack 8 and Dentrix G5 Productivity Pack 2 or higher. The update includes 16 new ADA-CDT procedure codes. There is no new claim format in this update. Only Dentrix offices on a current Customer Service Plan will receive the new CDT codes automatically. If you are a Dentrix customer but are not on a Customer Service Plan, please contact our sales department at 888.988.4804 for the updated codes.
For Dentrix customers running Dentrix G4 Productivity Pack 8 and Dentrix G5 Productivity Pack 2 or higher you can check for updates in Dentrix to retrieve the update now. For more information, click here .
Dentrix Windows 8/8.1 Compatibility
Windows 8/8.1 is supported on Dentrix beginning with Dentrix G5 Productivity Pack 1 Hotfix 2. If you are using any third-party applications with Dentrix, we recommend that you verify that all of your third-party software is compatible with Windows 8/8.1 before upgrading to Windows 8/8.1.
2012 ADA Dental Claim Form (J430)
The 2012 ADA Dental Claim Form (J430) is now available inside of Dentrix for customers running Dentrix G4 Productivity Pack 8 or later.
ADA Claim Form J430 supports reporting up to four diagnosis codes per claim. The form includes box 34 for the diagnosis code list qualifier that indicates which diagnostic coding system was used (for example, ICD-9), box 34a for listing diagnosis codes, and box 29a for the diagnosis code pointer that associates procedures on the claim form with their corresponding diagnosis code(s). The claim form also provides a new 'Qty' field for each procedure (box 29b) to specify procedures that were performed multiple times and have the same procedure code, treatment area, and fee.
Dental offices using Dentrix G4 Productivity Pack 8 or Dentrix G5 can use the Check for Updates tool to download the updated claim form when it becomes available. To find the Check for Updates tool, right-click the Dentrix Quick Launch icon in the notification area of the Windows taskbar to open the Quick Launch menu. Next, click Updates and then click Check for Updates.
If the Dentrix Quick Launch icon is not displayed in the notification area of the Windows taskbar, you can check for updates by clicking About Dentrix from the Help menu of any Dentrix module and then clicking Check for Updates.
Dentrix G4, Productivity Pack 8, Hotfix 6
Dentrix G4, Productivity Pack 8, Hotfix 6 is now available to download and install. This hotfix includes insurance forms changes for California and Idaho. Beginning January 2011, HIPAA requires dentists to use CDT 2011/2012 codes to represent dental procedures performed after January 1, 2011. Specifically, HIPAA requires all procedures for electronic claim submissions to use the code set that is current for the date of service.

Dentrix G4 Service Pack - June 2009 (includes all fixes from previous Service Packs)
Dentrix G4 Service Pack (June 2009) must be installed on each workstation that runs Dentrix G4. You can easily install the service pack using the Check for Updates feature within G4.
Complete the following steps to check for updates and install Dentrix G4 Service Pack (June 2009):
- Right-click the Dentrix Quick Launch in the System Tray to open the Quick Launch menu. Next, select Updates, then Check for Updates. The Check for Updates progress message box appears, followed by the Downloadable Updated dialog box. If the Dentrix Quick Launch icon is not displayed on your computer, you can check for updates by selecting Help | About Dentrix from the menu of any module and then clicking the Check for Updates link.
Note: If there is a problem with your Internet connection, an error message may appear. Check your Internet connection and try to check for updates again. - Click Yes to download the Required Updates. The Download Progress message box appears while the updates are downloaded and installed.

Dentrix is now integrated with PreViser's clinically validated risk and disease analysis software though a simple and easy to use technology bridge. This bridge allows PreViser to be launched from within Dentrix G3 and G4 versions, and pre-populates a number of the data fields required by PreViser.

Dentrix G3 CAMED Patch - California offices
G3 CAMED Patch provides updates for the new requirements in California for Medicaid Claims. If you bill California Medicaid, and do not send your insurance claims electronically through eTrans you need to download this patch so you can print your CAMED claims with the new requirements.

DXMobile Component Update for DTX 11
This only needs to be installed if you are running Dentrix 11 with the Performance Update installed and DXMobile installed. If you are not a DXMobile user and have not installed the Performance Update this will not install on your computer. If you have any questions please call support.
Trojan CU2
In Component Update 2, fixes or enhancements have been made to the following features: printing the Managed Care Fee Schedule, Fees in the Fee Schedule window, and importing the SupPmt column to the Payment Table.
The component update must be installed on each workstation that runs Trojan 6.0.
- Click here for the TV60CU2.exe file. The File Download dialog box appears.
- Click Save to save the file to your computer. The Save As dialog box appears.
- Expand the Save in drop-down list by clicking the arrow. Select Desktop from the list.
- Click the Save button to save the file to your computer’s desktop. When the file has been saved, the Download Complete dialog box appears.
- If you want to run the update now, click the Run button. If a security warning appears, click Run to continue with the installation. Click Yes to install the Component Update 2. Click Finish when the install is complete.
- If you want to run the update later, click the Close button and run the update at a later time by double clicking the TV60CU2 icon on your Desktop. Click the Run button. If a security warning appears, click Run to continue with the installation. Click Yes to install the Component Update. Click Finish when the install is complete.
- Install the Component Update on every computer in your office using one of the following three methods. The first method requires an Internet connection at each computer in your office. The second option does not require an Internet connection at each computer, but it requires a CD burner or external drive. The third option is more technical and should not be attempted without the help of a CIE or computer technician.
Option 1: Repeat steps 1 – 7 on each individual computer.
Option 2: Burn the Component Update file to a CD using a CD burner or copy the file to an external storage device, such as a jump drive. Take the CD or jump drive to each computer, save the TV60CU2 file to the Desktop. Double click the file on the Desktop and follow the instructions that appear to install the Component Update.
Option 3: Copy the file into the Dentrix folder on the server (ie. C:Program FilesDentrixDATAInstallsg3). Then, from each workstation, browse to the server’s Dentrix Installs folder and double click TV60CU2.exe to install the update.
